Harold Godwinson & one of His Brothers...
Here are some pictures of the Gripping Beast miniature "Harold Godwinson & His Brothers" or at least one of his brothers. The last brother havent yet decided which side to part with...
Harold was drafted for my Baltic Heathen force and one of his Brothers sided with the Swedish Crusaders as they offer him a new shiny helmet and shield:)
There is something so wicked about a 2 handed axe. I've been reading about Vikings and I made the mistake of asking my teenage kids "Do you know how the Vikings fought with a 2 handed axe?" My daughter replied, "With 2 hands?" Duh!
Those shields are great!
ReplyDeleteNice work - have axe, will travel :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat conversions and those shields are really excellent!
ReplyDeleteLovely stuff Michael. Beautiful shields!

Both shields are great, but I love the Dragon. Very nice figures.
ReplyDeleteVery nice!!! Love the conversion too!! You have done a great job with the shield designs.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Michael, another vote for the great shields!

Beautiful and deadly. Michael!

Thanks Mates !!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like the shields, I might have been able to give the rest of the minis some more detail, but I didn´t want them to outshine the commanders.
@Monty, seems like you have been outsmarted by the doughter, lovely comment:)
Best regards Michael
