Had to do just a bit more Perry advert...

Just noticed the 2 new packs in the Perry "European Armies" range,,,

got to find a use for them in my Swedish setting...

Swedish Attack Bears are well known in contemporary records  ...I think... ;)

EA34 Swiss Swedish horns and bear.

  2. Works just fine for me. Might pick the bear up for my medieval Californians with their bear flag.

  4. I'm sure we had some Swiss immigrants in Gamla Stan back in the days - and I've read somewhere that Charles XII actually had a bear brought into the castle dinner hall, where he had it drink wine from a bowl until the fury drinking buddy had too much, and fell out a window ;0)

  6. Never heard of bears being used in medieval warfare...maybe it would make the enemy "paws" for a while ..un -"bear"- able pun I know.
The bear Looks a wee bit big..it´s shoulders are the same height as the man holding it, it Looks similar to the size of a polar bear!!! Still, I like the sets..especially the Uri signaller
