Heathen Skirmishers

I´m not just painteing woodland indians at the moment... I have managed to start painting some Baltic heathen for my Baltic Crusade project to:)

The Base for the Baltic Heathen are the Gripping Beast Jomsviking starter box I got for birthday last year and some other minis I have got my hands on...

The first aim are to paint Infantry force of about 40-50 minis and then add some Novgorodian Cavalry to act as instigators and leaders of the Baltic Resistance to the Swedish Crusaders.

The first unit to be finished are a group of 6 skirmishers, 4 bowmen from West Wind saxon range with heads fron the hooded picts and some green stuf to get a more medieval look on some of the hoods. Then we have 2 crossbowmen from the old Games Workshop Dogs Of War range, with a headswap on one of the minsi that also got a West Wind Hooded head.
