Did some reading last night about which units I might do for Sharp Practice and Von Fieandt's force in summer 1808 seems perfect. For me, doing the Savonians is a given because I've lived most of my life there and I've received my army training in the Savolax Brigade in St. Michel so I'm a bona fide Savolax Jäger ;)Mikko Asikainenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10592243922449669655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1210932511057502147.post-45755759692457069722018-02-27T20:56:09.787+01:002018-02-27T20:56:09.787+01:00Hi Mikko

But the other infantry have the uniform m/1802 and the singel button with blue/yellow sash are the m/1806 uniform. Not may regiments did get the m/1806 uniform but they was ordered to alter the old m/1802 in to m/1806 cut. The uniform colours was the same. <br /><br />https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/49/Westgi%C3%B6ta_Gustavianer_upptr%C3%A4der_ocks%C3%A5_i_uniformsmodell_1807.jpg/500px-Westgi%C3%B6ta_Gustavianer_upptr%C3%A4der_ocks%C3%A5_i_uniformsmodell_1807.jpgDalaupprorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05292614404943521842noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1210932511057502147.post-23169645468828687942018-02-27T20:02:40.538+01:002018-02-27T20:02:40.538+01:00I'm mainly referring to Staaff's "Taf...I'm mainly referring to Staaff's "Taflor till fänrik ståls sägner" (http://runeberg.org/scttaflor/0067.html) and Johan Jacob Burman's memoir (http://mazikainen.blogspot.fi/2011/11/some-uniform-plates-for-russo-swedish.html)Mikko Asikainenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10592243922449669655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1210932511057502147.post-4976002469498306712018-02-27T14:55:06.647+01:002018-02-27T14:55:06.647+01:00Glad you liked them Mikko:)

The uniform plates for Finnish regiments don't seem to feature them.
