It's always great to see some more Landsknechts. I really like the old empire figures and still get on ebay now and again to pick useful old figures up.
I can just agree with the good use of those old miniatures. They look too large in mixed manufacturer units, but in an unit all on their own do they look great.
I'm so tempted to "borrow your 1-2-3 basing, but with square bases so I still can form normal units.
Very fine Landsknechts, love the old Warhammer Imperial range!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on those minis which brings back many happy memories:)
ReplyDeleteVery nice figs & basing! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteNice use of some old figures and great to see them still being used.
ReplyDeleteNice as ever, but don't you ever run out of old Empire miniatures? :)
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful miniatures, in particular the metal ones. And great paint job. /Mattias

ReplyDeleteGreat painting and a very colourful unit Michael. Good to see you are dabbling with Chain of Command as well.
ReplyDeleteExcellent work on the Landsknechts Michael!
ReplyDeleteThose old Perry sculpts are great - you've done a terrific job in re-purposing them for the Kalmar War, lovely work!

Please use the 1-2-3 basing if you like it. To use squarepants bases might loose the skirmish feel i want in My forces.
DeleteThank you very much mateys!
ReplyDeleteLooking good indeed! And even better on the gaming table. ;)
ReplyDeleteNice work Michael.
