Medieval Danish Hoast for Lion Rampant #3

Some slow progress in my Summer project, with just about one month to the release of the Lion Rampant rules.

This time I completed the second unit of Knights for the Danish Host, 5 new painted ones.The Knights are painted in the House of Thott colours.






In the last picture Herr Thott (Sir Thott)  himself have joined his Riddare and Svenner (Knights and Squirs).

    very nice painting. I'll be looking at these rules when they come out, from what I've seen they look worth purchasing.

    Lovely work. No caparison, is that choice or based on historical research? I actually like to see figures of knight's riding horses without caparisons, but I'm just interested not knowing much on late medieval Danish history.

      The lack of caparison are just because i see the unit as mostly Svenner (squires) that not have as good equipment as the knights, at least not in the backwhater Nordic contrys, so if I have had a caparison clad horse I would have used it on the one or two knight minis in the group. So no real historical research, just My view of the thing and My access to caparison clad horses:)
