GNW game at the Swedish Army Museum Wargaming exebition

Yesterday our gaming club here in Stockholm "Little Wars" was running a participation game as a part of the Swedish Army Museums Wargaming exebition. Of course the game had a Swedish focus as it was the Battle of Holowczyn 4 July 1708 between the Swedish forces under command of King Karl XII and the Russians under command of Field-Marshal Anikita I. Repnin. We used the Black Powder rules to play out the battle.

It was Sören and Jesper that mainly run the game, I just had oppinions, as usual;) During the day they run the game twice, but I was only presend during the first game so all pictures below are from the fist game of the day, sorry for the dark pictures, the lighting had more to ask...

Set-up, the Swedes closest in the picture and the Russians behind fortifications
I won´t give you a full AAR but I can say that the battle ended with a Historical correct outcom with a Swedish Victory even thought the Swedish King Karl VII managed to roll a blunder for hus first command roll in the game.
