House of Grubendal

I have painted some medieval Danish minis on commision, this will represent 2 Knights from the Danish noble house of Grubendal and their retuine.

Minis are from Claymore Castings (exccept for the Banner holder that are a Perry mini) , 20mm bases and tray from Warbases and the banner from www.krigsspil.dk

  8. Glad you seems to like them :) Sounded like Tony that have asked me to paint them liked them to, but he havent seen them IRL yet...

Might they inspire some one to go for some kalmar Union War gaming I would be glad, they work perfect for some Naval Cog skirmish with Victualian Brother Hood and the Union/Danes and maybe some Hanseatic League.... Zvezda have nice 1/72 Cogs... If you by any chanse wourld have one that you dont need I might be interested;)

  10. Very nice work mate.

Good mix of manufacturers and some great heraldic work- really makes the heraldry stand out, not too much, just right.

  11. Thanks Mates !

I tryed to include the heraldy colours black/yellow on the minis, so morst of them got black/yellow hose, not to uniform I hope but give them something that connect the group. Several of the Claymore minis have patched with the st. andrew cross, perfect to make the Grubemdal CoA:) Unfortunally it isn´t visual on any of the pictures I just noticed...but it is there...

    Best regards Michael
