At last !!!
After about 2 month of building I have finished my Medieval Church, inspired by the Harkaker church (Haraker kyrka in Swedish), Västmanland County in Sweden and also the location for the Battle at Haraker in april 1464, more about that later... Now a bunch of pictures of the finished church.
Very, very nice model Michael!!!
ReplyDeleteThat really turned out great! I love the idea of having it still under construction. Somehow makes it come to life more than just having it being totally finished.
ReplyDeleteI like the finished church with the scaffold. Thank you for sharing the images.

This is an absolutely fabulous model containing some nice little scenarios which brings it all to life. Thanks for sharing !
ReplyDeleteOne word : masterpiece!
ReplyDeleteWOW - that is very impressive Micke! The many details you've build into it (grave diggers, scaffold et.c) works really well. Hope to see it LIVE on the table soon.
ReplyDeleteYes a terrific model, Michael. The scaffolding idea is inspired!
ReplyDeleteMagnificent effort, good sir! Depicting the church "under construction" is just ingenious, the more since the 15th century saw edifices all over Europe being rebuilt. I love it!
ReplyDeleteHowever, I keep wondering how you store all these impressive pieces. You must have a whole shed at hand!
Cheers, SG
