Salute 2016 AAR - Battle at Foteviken 1134

God morning !

Back in Sweden after a joyfull Salute 2016 and running of our demonstration game "Battle at Foteviken 1134"

By the comments I have had time to read on different blogs it seems like our games was to peoples liking :)

Much thanks to jan that put all his spare time in to buildig the terrain and stunning viking ships, Thanks to Mrs Jan that more or less villingly lett him work on the project).

Also a greate thanks to Jonas and Jesper that helped me out to paint the minis and also running the game during the day, yes we acctually played using the Lion Rampant rules but using one base with 1,2,or 3 minis on as 1 mini per the rules, so 12 bases to a unit.

We would never have got a good day or game if we hadent have help by Colin, Steve and Tony for their work talking to people telling about the game and the history behovs it all, stunning work by you mateys, thanks !

A very big thak you to all that passed by and gave kind comments about it all, was very rewarding ! Sorry if I missed to talk to you all, was a quite bussy day.

Here are a bunch of pictures i took of our game and a few of other games that I managed to pass by, feels like I missed a lot of games this year but good that so many others of you have pictures on your blogs so I can catch up:)

Thanks you all for a good day at Salute 2016 !

    1. It shows that a simple set up but with quality can be just as impressive as mountains and towns etc....
