Here are the first of my Lithuanian Impetus bases... 2 Skirmishers with bows and 2 Light Foot Javelin/Axmen. The Light Horses are in progres and I hope to have some pictures of them during the weekend.
I tought that the snow turned out well, I added some fieldgras and foilage to get some more deepth, I hope you like it...because I won´t re do it;)
As I could not find any army lists for the Lithuanians or the Polish during the 13th century I have made my own. They haven´t been tested yet but I hope to get a chanse to use them as soon as my re-basing are done...
As I don´t have any armys for Impetus, based for the rules... I have decided to rebase 2 of my DBA armys... the armys that are going to get a Extrem DBA army Makeover are my Lithuenian an Early Polish armys. I plan to make 2 small Impetus armys each of 7-10 bases, that I can merege together to get a bigger one.
They will be the first of my Baltic Crusade theme armys for Impetus...and yes...there will be Teutionic knights as well...and all the armys will have snow bases:)
Here are some pictures of the Lithuanians and the Polish armys before Extrem DBA Army Makeover...
During this week I have rebased some Highlanders that I will use as newly raised militia during the AWI. I Don´t know if they used tartans but I like the minis and I wanted them to look as real Scottish Highlanders.
Most of the minis have been painted by my friend Jester a couple of years agoe for some Jacobite rebelion skirmish gaming, but now they have emigrated to America...
I haven´t had to much painting time the last week, but I managed to build me a nother british artillery limber and a generic supply wagon. At the moment I working on some loyalist militia, more about that next week... have a nice weekend:)
As a start of the New Year I finished the 4th and last group of Woodland Indians. I will now start to paint a American Militia Light Artillery piece and some casualty markers.
