Beautiful Dal and so clever! I'm so copying your idea of using heraldry on an easter egg! My kids are teens and they'll groan once they see dad managed to turn another thing back to history!
great idea. You should have announced it as a sort of comp thing..."the dalauppror paint your egg challenge"...just for fun. Give a date to be finished on etc.. I´m off to paint mine now.. Cheers paul

I use my ordinary paints that I painted minis with, Black undercoat and then it´s just to paint, gloss varnish...
