Abow a first concept map of the terrain that Jan have drawn and ome WIP pictures of the build of a Dutch Ship (Kalmar Nyckel) and the Swedish "Fort Mosquito"
Will have to just enjoy the photos this year 🙂
ReplyDeleteWow. Its going to be epic! /Mattias
ReplyDeleteReally looking forward to this one, Michael. I'm planning my own little scenario in Nya Sverige with my son.
ReplyDeleteOne thing...in Alf Åbergs book, he mentions a guy named Per Gunnarson Rambo. I mean...with a Rambo on their side, how did Sweden ever lose? :)
Fun fact: Rambo is old-fashioned Swedish for Raven's nest or mountain. From Ram(n) meaning raven and bo meaning either nest or dialectal for mountain.
DeleteThat Rambo family is aparently still living and one of the oldest living Swedish American families.
Great stuff! Sweden's contribution to the fledgling US was valuable indeed.
DeleteDamn!!!! That is looking great. The map drawing is also top notch!
ReplyDeleteLooking good Michael.
ReplyDeleteExcllent work from Jan as alway!
ReplyDeleteWow! Looking great.
ReplyDeleteLooks great. How large is the ship and the fort respectively?
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing this develop!
ReplyDeleteLooks excellent already????
ReplyDeleteLooks great already, nice straightforward and effective ship building and the fort already looks really effective.
