Battle of Chancellorsville 1863

Yesterday my mate Sören had set up some ACW gaming for me and my club mates. We run a game inspired by the Battle of Chancellorsville 1863. We managed to put about 500 28mm minis on the table for 5 houres of Black Powder gaming.

First time I got a chanse to use my Philadelphia Brigade and they did good holding the center of the union line :)

No full AAR but some pictures from the game...

More Knights and Svenner for Gudmar.

As Gudmar only are able to arm three men He have decided to bring along his Allies from the House of Oxenstierna to bring up the number for a full unit of Mounted Men-at Arms. Will be nice reinforcement for the tomorrow night game at the club.

Lucia once again:)

As every year on the 13th December we celebrate Lucia here in Sweden. I posted this film last year for you that don´t know of the Swedish Lucia celebration. If you by any chanse missed it here is it again: "Swedish Lucia for Dummies";)

Gudmar and his Svenner

During the last week I been painting some heavy reinforcement for my hero in our Lion Rampant Club Project "Håtunaleken" i.e. Håtuna-Games a Swedish Game of Thrones you could say;)

So here are the first two Svenner (Squire) for Gudmar Manussons, House of Ulvåsa, unit of Mounted Men of Arms. 3 More to follow...

In the last game of our Håtunaleken club project my hero Gudmar Magnusson from the House of Ulvåsa lead his allmoge mounted on his gallant stallion, but now he have decided to fight on foot and lead them from the front and make the best use of his gandgrandgrandfathers Daneaxe ;)
