Gudmar have lost his Horse...
In the last game of our Håtunaleken club project my hero Gudmar Magnusson from the House of Ulvåsa lead his allmoge mounted on his gallant stallion, but now he have decided to fight on foot and lead them from the front and make the best use of his gandgrandgrandfathers Daneaxe ;)

;o) cute.... great brush work and colors used on this marvelous looking figure.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very nice figure, fantastic painting work.
ReplyDeleteMy kingdom for a horse!
ReplyDeleteHe looks great. That axe is very intimidating. Will he lead some foot knights or will you stick to your allmoge?

What a cracking miniature Michael, bravo Sir.
ReplyDeleteHe means business,great figure!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to have the ability to choose between fielding him mounted or dismounted. And I think you managed to copy the mounted version quite good.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck to him in the games of Håtuna.
Excellent figure - a great match for the mounted version.
ReplyDeleteSuperb! He realy looks quite scarry with that huge daneaxe.
ReplyDeleteVariety is the spice of life, and I love both choices here! The Daneaxe doesn't go out of style.
ReplyDeletePoor Gudmar! Though I'm sure he'll be able to look after himself with that great axe of his.
ReplyDeleteNice work as always Michael!
Fantastic figure Michael! I bet that axe could tell some stories.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure the Trolle army would dare to betray anyone with that kind of an axe. When diplomacy fails, put your axe on the table.
ReplyDeleteWhat a magnificent sight.
ReplyDeleteBlue and yellow Nordic Samurai
Stunning work there Michael
