I have started the new year in a religious manner and painting me a Bishop for my Swedish Crusade, can´t have a crusade without the pious word and participation of at least one Bishop can we...
While I was on it I also painted some more ledung soldiers, 25 of them to be precise but only 24 of them made it to the pictures. I also added some group shorts of the force so far.
The minis are a mix of Fire Forge Foot Sergeants and Gripping Beast Vikings and Dark Age Warriors, the Archers arms are from the Perry Bow and Bill box. and the Bishops funny hat was made from a grenadier cap from the Wargames Factory SSW infantry box, must say it again, love the possibilitys with plastic minis:)
Lovely figures! I really like the way you have swapped body parts from various kits.
ReplyDeleteCheers PS
Superb figs...always inspiring!
ReplyDeleteSplendid, love these fabulous shields!
ReplyDeleteWow, I love the pics of them deployed in a line:). You really get the feel of a massed body of troops!
ReplyDeleteFabulous work Michael, I think the Bishop looks as terrifying as the troops he is rallying.
ReplyDeleteGlorious painting work!

ReplyDeleteLovely work on the bishop Michael! I guess it can't hurt to have God on your side!
ReplyDeleteAn impressive force indeed! Well done on the bishop too.
ReplyDeleteLooking good a very productive start to the year.
ReplyDeleteThe bishop looks great! Love that you painted 25(!) more minis "while you were on it". I wish that happened to me too, starting to paint one guy and ending up with almost 30. :-) great job. Look forward to see more of this crusade. /Mattias
