Russian taking a beating at the battle at Stäket 1719
Some WIP from my painting table of today. Russian Infantry taking heavy casualties by the Swedish Galleys at Stäket 1719 as they tried to advance on the Swedish positions.
I built them out of Wargames Factory plastic WSS minis.
Bloody hell!! Literally!! I'm guessing that you like the Wargames Factory figures; I've heard a lot of negative feedback about them but I might indulge in a sprue or two to check them out myself..
I think they work fine as long as i cut of the neck part of the Bodies as otherwise they get ostrich necks... the other thing is that some of the heads have Marty Feldman eyes... but as long as i don’t paint them it works.
Brilliant!!! I love the WSS plastics, they are so easy to modify that I found myself spending more time producing variations than I did painting them. Superb work, I can't wait to see them painted.
