I havent just only been painting Russians lately but also a bunch of Swedish Infantry for our Finnish War Project. I and my matey and co-project man Mattias have decided to go for the Uppland Regiment as they took part in the fighting both in Pommeria 1805-07 as well as in Finnland 1808-09.
All the minis used are from the Perry British Napoleonic metall range that we have comverted in to look a bit more Swedish. The Commander on Hores are a built from different Perry Plastics.
At Mattias blog you can find several very good tutorials for how we have converted the Perry minis used and also how to paint the Uppland regiment, at least his way ;)
