The first group of Swedish infantry for my Finnish War 1808-1809 project are finished.
IF I have the strenth and endurance I plan for Sharps Practice are to build the 2nd Batallion of the Nyland Regiment. a Swedish battalion was approximately 600 men in 4 companys, each company was subdivided in 2 platoons. Each battalion did also have 2 Jaeger platoons. My aim are to have 12 minis in each company, i.e. 6 in each platoon and of course some extra minis for the Officers/Big Men... 60-70 minis...might be possible...
Anyway, here are the pictures of the 1st Platoon of the 5th Company "Helsinge Company".
