Danish Infantry for the Scanian War 1675-1679

Danish reinforcements composed of one group of 12 Shot miniatures and one group of 12 Pike miniatures. Adding the Shot unit my matey Sören painted for me I now have a propper Danish Pike and Shot line for my Scanian War 1675-1679 project.

Miniatures are from the North Star 1672 range and the minis in the Shot unit I already had are Warfare miniatures, must say they mix quite well.

  6. Nice to see some pike units:). I like the 3,2 and 1 figure basing system, which is pretty much the way I will go for my 10mm forces.

  10. Beautifully done sir. Curious, any particular reason for the variable basing (1 figure, 2 figs and 3 figs)? Just for casualty removal?

    1. Thanks Jay !

The 1-2-3 basing are for I think it look good and of course casualty removal, gives me the possibility to make more out of the bases, diorama options, it also gives a good skirmish feel to the units and it actually speed up play as I just move 6 bases instead of 12 when moving a unit :)
